Because they suck and they need to pause it to see what enemies are coming at them because they come in way to fast at their slow speed.
Their Newgrounders, they cant process visual data at those incredably slow speeds... I mean fast speeds *wink*
And also, if gay sh*t happens they need to be able to watch it without dieing.
So that's why those NGERS need a pause button.

Something to add to my last review
The swords don't look like their in the hand, you guys drew them like, above it.
I think it would have looked better cupped in the hand.
